Haven't posted anything for literally a year and a half..... o_O; I don't really like my username anymore, I'd like something a little more professional I guess! Or more memorable, eheh....  Also need to clean house here, in regards to older stuff. So either gonna start afresh, or fork over for a premium account just to change it. I have a tumblr that I've been using to brush up on my inking skills, you can find it at that-inking-feeling.tumblr.com ^_^ Holidays and other real-life stuff is keeping me from adding to it at the moment, but once things settle down I'll be right back to it, I'm sure.

Today was the first drawing I've posted in a loooong while... I had been working in a hibachi restaurant, and through a mixture of stress and constantly being surrounded by shrimp grilling I developed a seafood allergy D: It took FOREVER to figure out that was why I was always so tired and getting worn out after even the shortest shifts. I cut back on my hours a bunch, and still all I could ever do on my days off was sleep. So my drawing and painting suffered really bad... getting back into the swing of it now (for like the bajillionth time) and I've been practicing with ink as much as I can, so that maybe ONE DAY I can finally start drawing

I still haven't finished one of my xmas gift paintings, because I keep trying to paint with watercolours as if they were oil paints, grrr.... It's just a truck in front of some hills, but I've done way too many layers and so it just looks drab as all getup.... not something I would usually paint. So now I've tried to backpedal and ink the outlines, but I don't know if my father-in-law really likes cartoony stuff >.< Should I just do a monochrome redo? Whatever, I'll figure it out. So now my New Year's resolution is just to loosen up! If I wanted to paint all precisely and tightly, then I should have just bought oils or acrylics instead. Mayb
